Taking action cluster
Many FEL members find our forum for networking, knowledge sharing and dialogue a satisfactory contribution to their own personal and professional development. But some members want more. They would like to bundle the knowledge and power within our Foundation to do more, to make a difference in their own personal development, their organisations and/or the community at large.
FEL will offer a platform upon which its participants can stand and take action. The action can range from combating football hooliganism or fostering leadership in difficult neighbourhoods, to introducing new leadership concepts within organisations, or developing our own personal knowledge and understanding on leadership issues. Just what the action will be, depends on the individuals present at the time. Whatever the case, actions will be participant driven; FEL will provide coordination and feedback.
Retreat
A short retreat in a monastery has been organised in August 2007. The rationale is to get to know each other better as a person and as a professional to provide a better launching platform from which to take action. Follow-up meetings will take place throughout the year.
