ELP events

We organize Roundtable events for four distinct audiences. The President Circle has its own separate meetings, the other three segments are mixed or invited separately, depending on speaker and topic. Members can log in to their own Circle for complete event descriptions and to access the member database. For more information please contact us.

Workshop

Kazimierz Gozdz (L) Joseph Jaworski (R)

This unique three day workshop will start at 13:30 on May 26th and finish at 16:00 May 28th. A thorough renewal of our institutions and our societies is necessary to meet the challenges of the current crises in economy, ecology and values. This entails shifting the belief system used for leadership, management, decision making, and problem solving. During this three day workshop, participants will be challenged to examine the fundamental assumptions underlying their management worldview. They will learn how strategy formation and profound innovation at the enterprise or department level requires a leap from managing among existing alternatives to co-creating new futures.

Participants in this workshop will be the first in the world to get a preview of the new research by Joseph Jaworski and Kazimierz Gozdz which aligns recent discoveries in science, mainly quantum physics, with the ancient wisdom of spiritual traditions to create a revolutionary methodology. The workshop will explore six principles of an emerging worldview that suggests a new management paradigm, adequate for the chronic issues present in our organizations today. Small group dialog and solo walks in nature will enhance the learning experience. This workshop is co-sponsored by ZIN, Generon International and the Dutch Centre of Executive and non Executive Directors (NCD). For details contact us or log in to the members only portion of our web site.

Leadership Dinner

President Circle: The Power of Balance. With Kees van der Graaf

Leadership Dinner
14/09/10

In a world of volatility and uncertainty, we need strong and effective leaders. Highly effective leaders know how to balance their lives within the spheres of their work, their families and in their contributions to society, as well as across them. Too often leaders give up control of their lives, become victims of their agendas and give in to immediate demands and short term pressures. Living a grounded and balanced life strengthens the contribution that a leader makes to each sphere of his/her live and is critical to his/her effectiveness as a leader. Kees van der Graaf will introduce the topic, based on his current research as an executive in residence at IMD, the business school in Lausanne. He is interviewing CEOs worldwide about the balance in their lives. Kees van der Graaf was President of Unilever Europe.
